KAIA Engineering are a family run business who offers domestic and commercial Air Conditioning installations as well as servicing, maintaining and repairs. Whether you are looking to get Air Conditioning, upgrade existing units or simply need a service, KAIA Engineering can cater for all your needs.
Our company director, Daniel, has been working in the Air Conditioning Industry for over a decade. He studied at the Chisholm Institute in Australia and obtained a Mechanical Engineering Degree after which he worked as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer in Australia for around 4 years before moving back to the UK. Since moving back to the UK, Daniel founded KAIA Engineering LTD with the vision to “bring honesty and transparency to the Air Conditioning Industry whilst ensuring our customers get the best quality installation every time”.
We offer a room designing service where we take the dimensions of your room and design the best layout for your Air Conditioning Unit.

Can I install the equipment myself?We can only install equipment that we supply. This is because we provide our own guarantees and would not be able to guarantee the equipment you have provided. This would void our insurance. As of July 2009, it became a legal requirement for all businesses that install, maintain and service air conditioning, stationary refrigeration, and/or heat pump equipment containing F-gas refrigeration to hold an F Gas Company Certification from any of the bodies found here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/certification-for-companies-working-on-equipment-containing-f-gas

Can you install equipment that I have already purchased?We can only install the equipment that we supply. This is because we provide a guarantee with our products as well as a warranty on parts and labour. We could not offer this on equipment you purchase so would not be able to supply fitting

Are the systems loud?The units that we supply are adaptable for the environment that they are installed in. Most of our units are practically inaudible.

Do we require planning permission?Most Air Conditioniing units are fine without planning permission but we would always recommend contact your local planning authority and obtain writing confirmation on whether you do or not. We will provide information such as dimensions, sizes, equipment list of installed products and noise levels to provide support for your planning application.
